DIYKE manifesto

DIYKE is a portmanteau / hybrid of DIY & DYKE which puts emphasis on two aspects important for us as in our motto: Do it yourself or ask your girlfriend to do it (“it” being both art & erotics).

DIYKE is an art project that focuses on our pursuit of pleasure as dykes & other members of the FLINTA* community

We are FLINTA*: (all identifying as) female, lesbian, intersex, nonbinary, trans and agender people. The FLINTA* movement objective is to find an expression for a group of people who are discriminated against and oppressed by the patriarchal structures of our society. The F in FLINTA* also stands for Feminist.

Mission Statement: Our art project is dedicated to exploring and celebrating pleasure through the creation of (post) porn movies, saucy prints, and more practical means & tools such as harnesses & other erotic gear.

The pleasure we find in acts of inter-personal, inter-species inter-actions. Erotic & non-erotic. Romantic & non-romantic. Including ecosexual human-ecosystem intercourse. Hydrosexual human-watersystem intercourse – fucking water. Befriending water.

The pleasure we anticipate in human-machine interaction: Intelligence & Artificial Intelligence (AI) romance. GPT chat dirty talks. Seducing Siri or Alexa.

With this website we aim to provide a platform for exploration & experimentation within the love-is-love topic.

Values:

  1. Inclusivity – We believe in promoting and celebrating the diversity of individuals regarded as a threat to normativity: non-heteronormative, non-gendernormative; individuals who do not fit in the roles that patriarchal society has imagined for them.
  2. Empowerment – We aim to empower individuals from marginalized communities, specifically the feminist & LBTQIA+ community to embrace their desires and to challenge societal norms that restrict their pursuit of pleasure.
  3. Self-expression – We believe in providing a platform for self-expression and creativity, allowing individuals to showcase their unique perspectives and experiences & take control of their own narratives and to use art as a means of self-expression.
  4. Safe Space – We strive to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals within the FLINTA* community to freely explore their desires and to engage in meaningful discussions about pleasure.

Goals:

  1. Producing and showcasing (post) porn movies, prints, and erotic garment that represent and celebrate the pursuit of pleasure within the FLINTA* community.
  2. Partnering with organizations and individuals within the community to create a network of support and empowerment.
  3. Challenging societal norms and taboos related to pleasure and sexuality.
  4. Providing a platform for individuals to engage in discussions and to share their experiences and perspectives.
  5. Raising awareness and promoting understanding about the importance of pleasure and self-expression within the FLINTA* community.
